St. Joseph by the Sea High School in Staten Island needed a new auditorium. The old auditorium, where students held their holiday plays and other productions, was deteriorating and needed to be replaced.

Daggart built a 320-seat new auditorium with stadium type seating. The new stadium seating represented the school’s colors. A new state of the art stage area was installed with all necessary sound and lighting. Special sound barriers were installed on the inside of all the exterior walls. The finished ceiling was a state of the art saw tooth ceiling with hidden lighting for special effects. It was a project that required Daggart Construction to work around the school’s operations, but Daggart Construction made sure the Christmas Play went on as scheduled and the theatrical curriculum was not compromised and everyone got to enjoy the new auditorium.
